On the Edge - Giant's Causeway, Northern Ireland
The Giant’s Causeway is an impressive collection of interlocking basalt columns on the Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland (according to wikipedia, there are approximately 40,000 of them). The only thing more impressive than the geology is the freedom with which you get to clamber all over it – no OH&S restrictions here, even though the tallest columns are 12m high. And, as you can see, there is no barrier to going right to the edge.
