Couple holding hands, Washington D.C.
There’s something about this simple black and white shot I love – I’m not sure if it’s the tourist symbol of the camera dangling between their joined hands, the water bottle stuffed into the rear pocket, or just the couple dressed in the ubiquitous travel uniform of t-shirt and jeans. (For reference, this picture was taken at the same pedestrian crossing as stikman.)

Parkes Radio Telescope
A closer shot of the Parkes radio telescope. One of the things I love about this telescope is that all the structure is on display – there’s no facade hiding it away from sight.

Skyscrapers, La Defense
Paris may be known for its wide avenues and 19th century architecture, but just as interesting for a photographer is the architecture of La Defense, the financial hub of Paris. (Despite the name, this area has nothing to do with the military – it was named after the statue La Défense de Paris.)

Interior of Worcester Cathedral
It took me a while to find my way into Worcester Cathedral, but when I did, it was worth it.

Parliament Hill, Ottawa
OK, so it’s another shot of Canada’s Parliament. I can’t help it if that place is photogenic!
On a completely unrelated note, I just found out I sold my first ever print! *does a celebratory dance* (It was Pulteney Bridge, for those interested.)
