Birds in Motion, St Peter's Square
Another of the semi-abstract Birds in Motion series from St Peter’s Square in the Vatican, Rome. Once again, thanks to K for being so patient while I ran around chasing birds with my camera!

Library of Parliament, Canada
Exterior door and facade of the Library of the Canadian Parliament. The light was incredibly flat and dull that day, which limited the interesting photographic opportunities, but worked well for faux-HDR-type shots which highlight the incredible stonework of the building itself.

Pont d'Iena, Paris
The Pont_d’Iena over the river Seine was ordered by Napoleon in 1807, and named after his victory at the Battle of Jena. This is the bridge which sits at the base of the Eiffel Tower; the stairs off the bridge are also famous for featuring in a James Bond film, when Roger Moore drove a Renault 11 taxi down them while chasing an assassin.

Heads from the North, National Gallery of Australia
Continuing with yesterday’s sculpture theme, here’s a picture of the Heads from the North, a installation artwork by Dadang Christato in the Marsh Pond of the Sculpture Garden of the National Gallery of Australia. I almost filled a memory card with pictures of this haunting sculpture, so expect more pictures of this sculpture to come.

Sculpture and Autumn Leaves, Washington D.C.
My mother requested a picture of flowers or trees – this was about the best I could do! This is a sculpture just off the Mall in Washington D.C.. I haven’t been able to find out any information about it, so if anyone recognises it, please feel free to share.
ETA: Found it! The Delta Solar Sculpture, by Alejandro Otero, and is technically a part of the National Air and Space Museum.
