Amazing how black and white (and grey) winter is. This looks like the image I have of them in my memory..when I saw them last as a kid. Terrific..timeless image!
Thanks Marcie! Snow can transform even the most vibrant of landscapes into a monochrome masterpiece
Looks very cold. I like the symmetry of the shot, with the point of the lock making the whole thing look like a ship.
It was absolutely freezing! Thanks James.
I was just going to compliment you on a great black and white conversion
Mother Nature took care of that for me
nice lines and vanishing point.
Thanks Leanne.
I browsed back, great images you posted, love this one too !
Thanks
Wow, great shot. Really works in b/w.
Thanks! Nature didn’t give me much choice about making this one black and white
This is superb. The white came out perfectly.
Thanks! White can be tricky, especially under mixed lighting.
Fabulous, JP! Not ready to even think about snow though….
You need to live somewhere where snow is a novelty, then you’ll appreciate it more
