Bungee, London
This picture was taken at what, to all appearances, looked like a small country show, except that it was right in the centre of London (behind St Paul’s Cathedral). I’m not sure what the occasion was, but the Bungee Trampoline looked like a blast!
Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in the US!

Poppy, Floriade
It’s been a while since I’ve posted more of the Floriade abstract macro series, so here’s another Poppy picture. This was shot looking up from underneath, with the sun illuminating the petals from within.

The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, National Air and Space Museum, Washington D.C.
Children play in the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Centre, part of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Not only are the exhibits themselves impressive (counting among their number the space shuttle Enterprise and the SR-71 Blackbird), but the architecture isn’t too shoddy either, in an industrial kind of way.
(Note to anyone planning a visit – if you are trying to get there via public transport, allow plenty of time!)
