Uluru (Ayers Rock), Central Australia
I think I’ve mentioned this before, but if you really want to appreciate the sheer size of Uluru, a helicopter tour is the way to go.

Walls of Avila, Spain
The city of Avila, Spain, is justly famous for its wonderfully preserved medieval walls. The walls have a perimeter of approximately 2.5km, with 88 towers and around 2500 merlons (those would be the castle-y bits sticking up along the top of the walls and towers, for those not up on their medieval architecture lingo).

Balcony, Royal Alcazar, Seville
Looking up at the balcony surrounding the Courtyard of the Maidens in the Royal Alcazar of Seville, you can see the beautiful wooden paneling which runs underneath it, as well as all the arches and intricate detail typical of Mudejar architecture.
