A man stands under the sails of La Grande Arche de la Défense. The business district may not be on everyone’s must-see list when visiting Paris, but the architecture is incredible.

Washington and Vietnam Monuments, Washington D.C., USA
It’s a couple of days late for Remembrance Day, but this picture from the Vietnam Memorial looking towards the Washington Monument seemed to suit the occasion.

Attendants light the giant coils of incense in the Man Mo Temple in Hollywood Road, Hong Kong. The incense coils are left by the devout to gain the attention of the gods.
