Concourse, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre
There’s something about the architecture of modern public buildings like the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre that I really love – I think it’s the combination of the lines and the light and the big open spaces. And of course, when you’re in Australia, they are great places to sit, relax and have a beer while you wait for the main event!
Great photo and black and white.
The architecture looks similar to a building here in Portugal: casa da musica
Sounds like an interesting building – I’ll have to check it out when I finally make it to Portugal.
Excellent photo of lines, light , and shadow! Love it!!!
Thanks Dave. The light and lines where what attracted me to this picture – the man drinking was just the icing on the cake.
Perfect balance – love the lines, light and shadow too.
Thank you!
Fantastic image. I love the abstract quality of it.
Thanks Edith. The abstract-ness of modern architecture is what attracts me to it, I think.
awesome!
Thanks Chloe!
Nicely captured light & lines in this composition.
Thanks Cardinal!
The lines and the contrast between dark and white makes for an interesting shot.
Thanks Tom, glad you like it.
I LOVE the geometry / shapes / lines in this, J.P…
the inclusion of the human element really gives a sense of the grand scale here, too…
awesome!!!
Such a clever compo with splendid light.
Thanks k@!
