I think I mentioned the tendency of puffins to pose for the camera – this little guy was a perfect example, happy to adopt the classic ‘puffin head turn’ as soon as someone pointed a camera in his direction!

I think it’s a side effect of them being so photogenic – whatever they do, they look good (or at least ridiculously cute!).

How unreal looking are these birds! He almost looks like a painting against a natural backdrop. Very pretty picture.
