Ahoy, me hearties! It’s Repost Wednesday! A hunt through the archives didn’t turn up anything sufficiently nautical to honour International Talk Like a Pirate Day, so I went with a picture of the Canadian Parliament instead- politicians, pirates, it’s all the same, right?

I lived there for nearly 12 years back in the 80s/90s. I was actually back in Ottawa a few weeks ago to show my kids around. Ottawa’s great in the summer, but it doesn’t look nearly as nice as your winter shot.
Thanks Mike – I’ve visited Ottawa a few times, and, while I enjoyed exploring the city more in the warmer weather, the winter was definitely more photographically inspiring for me. I hope you and your kids enjoyed your trip back.
