Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong
As the sun sets, a boat heads out towards the floating cranes at the entrance to Victoria Harbour. Due to its high demand for land, Hong Kong is the only harbour in the world that currently operates using at-sea loading and unloading of cargo (known as mid-stream operation).

Pug and Door, Lantau Island, Hong Kong
Just to prove I can still post photos from somewhere other than Spain, here’s one of my favourite shots from Hong Kong. This was taken at the top of Lantau Island, near the Tian Tan Buddha.

Fisherman, Aberdeen Harbour, Hong Kong
While many of the inhabitants of Aberdeen’s Floating Village no longer live on their boats, they still work there during the day, seemingly oblivious to the constant stream of tourist-bearing sampans cruising past.

International Finance Centre, Hong Kong
Tower 2 of the International Finance Centre, was, until recently, the tallest building in Hong Kong. If film buffs think it looks familiar, that may be because this was the skyscraper Batman jumped off in The Dark Knight.

Removing Incense, Hong Kong
A temple attendant removes previous offerings to make room for the continual stream of new worshipers at Wong Tai Sin Temple, one of the most famous shrines in Hong Kong.
