View from the Eiffel Tower, Paris
The Eiffel Tower is an icon of Paris, but the view from the upper decks, especially over the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, is as spectacular as the tower itself.

Another attempt to take a slightly different picture of Paris’s most distinctive landmark, the Eiffel Tower. The steel structure looks so delicate, almost lace-like, from this perspective.

No photo can prepare you for the sheer size of the Eiffel Tower when you walk beneath it for the first time. But, by the same token, no collection of travel photos from Paris is complete without at least one shot of the Tower in all its glory, so here’s mine.
