Tidal Flats, Mont St Michel
Looking down, Mont St Michel
Mont St Michel is a tidal island off the coast of Normandy, France. The abbey which gives the island its name is magnificent, and well worth a visit, but the view down to the surrounding tidal flats has its own austere beauty.
