Interior, National Museum of Australia
The interior of the National Museum of Australia is as bright, garish, and architecturally interesting as its exterior.

National Museum of Australia, Canberra
Continuing with yesterday’s architecture theme, this is a picture of part of the skyline of the National Museum of Australia, from the recent Shoot the Museum event.
The National Museum is, all things considered, a rather garish building, but when sections are considered in isolation, each individual design element works with its immediate surrounds, which leads to some great photographic opportunities.
(Incidentally, this weekend’s goal is to figure out how to use flickr, since I’m supposed to upload some shots there… isn’t technology fun?)
