I think I’ve mentioned this before, but if you really want to appreciate the sheer size of Uluru, a helicopter tour is the way to go.

  1. i’m yet to travel to see uluru but i can imagine it’s incredible! stunning photograph, the colours are beautiful

  2. WOW – fabulous view – great photo! When I see your photo here I wish I had done this helicopter-ride there! But that must be during next visit…. – I got some good photos of Uluru in the sunrise, which I will publish later πŸ™‚

  3. I climbed the rock and walked around the rock and watched the sun rise and set changing the rock many different colours but I never managed to Fly over it or capture a shot like your one.
I swear I could go back and just watch the rock for a week!
    Nice one mate.

  4. yeah there are some places that pictures just can’t do enough justice and I would assume this would be one of them. Have been to quite a few places in Australia myself but not to the deserts and the outbacks. This is an iconic image of that australia ! very well shot
