Flamenco (VIII), Spain

Apologies for my silence – work has been a little insane recently.Β  To make up for it, here’s one of my favourite Flamenco pictures, one of the supporting dancers from the Palacio Andaluz. I think I could do with another trip to Spain to photograph nothing but Flamenco…

  1. As you already know i’m a great fan of this serie of yours and each pic is a brilliant one bringing up emotion & movement that make us hear the music & feel the vibes, bravo.

  2. Stunning and I, too, admire the bold use of negative space. Interesting that when it is someone else’s image I can see, immediately, how “right” it is. Yet, I have trouble seeing it when I am the photographer. Yes, this makes up for the long face I wore on the days I found nothing new posted.

  3. I can understand why this is one of your favourite flamenco pictures. It’s full of action, music and pride (wasn’t the exact word I was looking for but can’t find another right now πŸ˜‰ )

  4. “I think I could do with another trip to Spain to photograph nothing but Flamenco…”

Totally agreed with that statement. If nothing else, it should feature strongly in the Journey Photographic retrospective, if such an exhibition should ever come to pass πŸ™‚
